Space Travelers is published by CRONCODE LLC and developed by Enes Altaş (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how Space Travelers handles information when you install, launch, and play the game.
1. Summary
Space Travelers does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal data.
The game does not include:
- Analytics or telemetry
- Advertising or advertising identifiers
- An independent account or registration system
- Tracking technologies
- Data collection servers operated by CRONCODE LLC or Enes Altaş
- Outbound internet connections initiated by the game itself
Game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. Certain optional Steam and Discord features may process limited information through their respective desktop applications and services.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
Space Travelers may store the following files in the local application data folder on your device:
save.json: Game progress, including your ship, credits, discovered planets, contracts, and activity log.save-backups/: Timestamped backup copies of your save data.lang.json: Selected interface language.deco.json: Cosmetic selections.wplayout.json: Live wallpaper layout preferences.routes.json: Saved route plans.config.json: Application settings.
Typical storage locations include:
- Windows:
%APPDATA%\Space Travelers - macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/Space Travelers
These files remain on your device unless you enable Steam Cloud or manually copy or transfer them.
You can erase locally stored game information by deleting the game’s application data folder. Doing so may permanently remove your game progress and settings.
3. Local Connections on Your Device
The desktop game window, live wallpaper mode, and route widget may operate as separate local views that share the same save information.
To synchronize these views, the game may run a local service that listens only on the loopback address of your own device, such as 127.0.0.1.
This local service:
- Is intended to be accessible only from your own device
- Is not designed to be reachable from the public internet
- Is not designed to be accessible by other devices on your local network
- Is used only to synchronize local game files and views
Space Travelers does not operate an external game-data server and does not make outbound internet connections of its own.
4. Steam Services
When Space Travelers is launched through Steam, certain features may be provided by the Steam client.
Steam Achievements
The game may notify Steam when you unlock an achievement. Steam associates achievement information with your Steam account.
Steam Cloud
When Steam Cloud is enabled, Steam may copy supported save and preference files to your Steam account so they can be synchronized between devices.
Steam Cloud can be disabled through the game’s properties or cloud settings in your Steam Library.
Steam Overlay and Persona Name
The game may use the Steam Overlay and may read your Steam persona name for display within the game interface.
CRONCODE LLC and Enes Altaş do not independently receive your Steam account credentials through these features.
Information processed by Steam is governed by Valve’s Privacy Policy:
5. Discord Rich Presence
Space Travelers may offer optional Discord Rich Presence functionality.
When the Discord desktop application is running and this feature is enabled, the game may send a short gameplay status to the local Discord client through an inter-process communication channel on your device.
Examples may include:
- “Mining on Vesta”
- “Docked at the station”
- A general description of your current in-game activity
The game does not directly connect to Discord’s servers for this feature. The local Discord client determines how the status is processed, displayed, and shared according to your Discord settings and Discord’s own privacy practices.
You may disable Discord Rich Presence through the game settings. Disabling the feature stops the game from sending status updates to the local Discord client.
Discord’s Privacy Policy is available at:
6. Children’s Privacy
Space Travelers is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other players through the game.
Because the game does not operate its own account system, analytics system, advertising system, or external data-collection server, we do not knowingly maintain personal profiles of players.
7. Data Sales, Advertising, and Tracking
We do not:
- Sell personal data
- Share personal data for targeted advertising
- Display third-party advertisements
- Use advertising identifiers
- Create behavioral profiles
- Use cookies within the desktop game
- Track players across unrelated applications or websites
8. Data Security
Game data stored locally is protected by the security of your device, operating system, Steam account, and Discord account where applicable.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and platform accounts.
Although reasonable care is taken in the design of local game storage, no electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure or free from data loss.
9. Your Choices
You may control your information by:
- Deleting the game’s local application data folder
- Disabling Steam Cloud
- Disabling Discord Rich Presence
- Managing Steam privacy and profile settings
- Managing Discord privacy and activity status settings
- Uninstalling the game
Deleting local files may permanently remove your saved progress and preferences.
10. Third-Party Services
Steam and Discord are independent third-party services.
Their collection, use, retention, and disclosure of information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or availability of third-party services.
11. International Users
CRONCODE LLC may publish Space Travelers to users in multiple countries and regions.
The game itself does not transmit personal data to CRONCODE LLC or Enes Altaş. Any information processed by Steam or Discord may be transferred and handled according to those companies’ respective privacy policies and infrastructure.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the game’s features, legal requirements, or third-party integrations change.
The updated version will be published on the official website or privacy policy page. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document will indicate when the latest revision took effect.
